Canadian-based Intrawest Corp. will develop and operate Winter Park for the next 50 years or more, under an agreement being negotiated with the city of Denver.
Intrawest, which owns Copper Mountain and has a market capitalization of $688 million, bested Avon-based East West Partners to become the city's partner at Winter Park.
