Catherine McDuffie Daniels (known as Kaki), a shoe designer, and Lodewijk Rupert Alexander de Vink (known as Rupert), a banker, were married in Greenwood, Virginia. How They Met: The Daniels and de Vink families had long been friends, but Kaki and Rupert had met only once before romance blossomed.
