WISCONSIN PORK PRODUCER NAMED NPPC PRESIDENT

DES MOINES, Iowa, March 14 /PRNewswire/ -- Mike Wehler, a pork producer from Plain, Wis., has been selected to serve for the coming year as president of the National Pork Producers Council (NPPC), it was announced today. Wehler, who operates a 140-sow farrow-to-finish and seedstock operation, markets more than 2,600 head each year. The former president of the Wisconsin Pork Producers Association has served this past year as NPPC's president-elect.
