MEG RYAN has told a judge that a stalker broke into a home in Hollywood thinking it was hers and informed its owner that he was going to marry the star.
John Hughes burst into the home of a family named Ryan, intending to kidnap and assault her, court papers revealed yesterday. The 30-year-old estate agent told police he had driven 3,000 miles from Florida to find her and that she was his fiancee.
Ryan says she wants Hughes kept behind bars or banned from coming within 150 yards of her and her son.
Tomas Ryan, who owns the property, said the intruder refused to believe it was not Ms Ryan's home.
