ECUMENICAL CONCERT AT TEMPLE EMANU-EL
NEW YORK, March 15 /PRNewswire/ -- The vibrant voices of five different choral groups of New York City will fill the lofty space of Temple Emanu-El's Main Sanctuary on the afternoon of Sunday, April 29, when the temple hosts an ecumenical concert. The temple is located at 65th Street and Fifth Avenue.
The diverse program will include selections from such classical composers as Mendelssohn and Bach. Other uplifting offerings will range from spirituals to popular Hebrew songs. Tsela Dimatlapa, composed by the Soweto College Choir, South Africa, and to be sung in Twana, is one of the unique pieces on the program.
