When you hear about bone density and health, you don't usually think of children -- it's usually a problem of post-menopausal women. However, a good
adolescent bone density lessens the chances of osteoporosis later in life.
Recently there have been a number of studies that explored bone density, activity, and fractures. Not all the studies looked at the same group of children, but they all came up with similar results.
