Tinnin Oriental has entered a licensing agreement with historic Mount Vernon to produce The Mount Vernon Collection of rugs. The carpets, art and architecture of George Washington's home serves as the inspiration for the rugs.

Tinnin Oriental introduced the collection at the October 2001 International Home Furnishings Market in High Point, N.C. Dean Jerrehian, president of Tinnin Oriental, said, "We are both honored to be able to make some of that history accessible and very excited by the broad appeal of George Washington and Mount Vernon."
