Though die casting will go through some consolidation over the next few years, the industry will have a continued strong presence in the automotive market place, and growth potential will also exist in nearly every other end-market.
The die casting industry continues to be an important supplier to original equipment manufacturers (OEMs) around the world. The old adage "If you want to find a die casting, just look around the room," continues to be true. The industry's success and future growth remains with its ability to supply a variety of end-markets, allowing for a level of resilience during both good and bad economic times.
