The theme of the 2002 International Thermal Spray Conference & Exposition (ITSC 2002) is "Innovative Surfaces -- Your Key to Success." The event will be held 4-6 March in Germany, at the South Congress Center of the Essen Fair (CC Sud, Messe Essen). It is jointly organized by the ASM Thermal Spray Society (TSS), the International Institute of Welding (11W), and Deutscher Verband fur Schweissen und verwandte Verfahren e.V. (DVS, the Germany Welding Society).
