JAKARTA, Feb 5 Asia Pulse - The tropical storms in South West Australia will not extend north to Indonesia, said the countries Meteorolgy and Geophysics Agency.
"There will be no storm as rumoured because the expected tropical storms will move away from Indonesia or from the equator," an expert at the agency Paulus Winarso said.
There have been rumours spreading through short message service (SMS) that tropical storms would sweep Jakarta as well as some areas in Java and Bali as a result of tropical storms occurring in South West Australia or south of East Nusa Tenggara.
