NEW YORK -- UBS Warburg announced today that Matthew M. Gourlay and Karl N. Knapp have joined as managing directors in the firm's U.S. Industrial Corporate
Finance group. Mr. Gourlay will focus on Leveraged Finance for Industrial companies, while Mr. Knapp will cover industrial clients as well as certain of UBS Warburg's key relationships in the Paper and Packaging industries. Both executives will report to Jeffrey McDermott, joint head of the Global Industrial group.
Previous to UBS Warburg, Mr. Gourlay served as vice chairman of Gleacher & Co. where he established the firm's Leveraged Corporate Finance effort, including sales, trading, and research. In ...
