CHICAGO-Groupe SEB expects to officially take complete ownership of Moulinex and key subsidiary Krups within the next two weeks, having received legal approval from European regulatory agencies just days before the International Housewares Show.
"In Krups, we have found a very good complement to the products and brands in which we are already involved," said Thierry de La Tour d'Artaise, chairman and chief executive officer for Groupe SEB. "We are strong players in the categories where we compete; but in coffee we were small, whereas Krups positioning for coffee in the United States is great."
