MINNEAPOLIS/ST. PAUL, Minn. -- Sun Country Airlines announced Wednesday that it is returning to scheduled service with 11 cities starting February 27th.

The airline had temporarily suspended most service on December 7, 2001, while in talks with a number of potential investor groups. On January 3, 2002, Sun Country resumed limited scheduled service between Minneapolis/St. Paul and Laughlin, Nev. on Thursdays and Sundays with guaranteed flying for Hobbit Travel and Don Laughlin's Riverside Casino.
