Feb. 7--Thai Airways International Plc is calling for bids, the first in 20 years, for the supply of magazines for its domestic flights after terminating its unsigned deal with Kinnaree.
Magic Production Co, the publisher of Kinnaree, reportedly delivered 35,000 copies of its February issue to the airline on Jan 27. However, Thai Airways chairman Virabongsa Ramangkura made good on his threat not to allow them on board any aircraft and the magazines were abandoned at the carrier's warehouse.
