Carmen Mirazo is a founding volunteer Co-Chair of the Sacramento Valley Organizing Community, a lay leader at St. Anne 's Catholic Church in Sacramento and a leader in SVOC efforts in housing. She is the primary leader for SVOC's nationally recognized immigration and naturalization campaign, which resulted in over one 1,000 new citizens and thousands of immigrants organizing for legalization efforts.
