AMERICAN LIFE LEAGUE RESPONDS TO U.S. COURT OF APPEALS RULING IN BOSTON
STAFFORD, Va., March 21 /PRNewswire/ -- "It can't be constitutional to refer clients for child-killing," Judie Brown, president of American Life League, said in response to yesterday's ruling by a U.S. Court of Appeals in Boston.
The court struck down regulations prohibiting abortion referral in federally subsidized birth control programs.
"Clearly, Attorney General Thornburgh will have to appeal this decision to the Supreme Court because it conflicts with the 2nd U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals which upheld the same anti-abortion counseling regulations," Brown noted. ...
