The National Association of Home Builders in Washington, D.C. has raised six million dollars to provide financial housing assistance to families impacted by the Sept. 11 disaster.

The aid will be distributed to those who suffered the death of a family member or the loss of employment in a business located south of Canal St. in Manhattan.

Under the direction of treasurer Philip LaRocque, The New York State Builders Association Research and Education Foundation has been designated as the disbursing agency for grant applications.
