Senior citizens aren't the only ones vying for space in the new Mount Prospect municipal building.
About five Mount Prospect Youth Commission members asked the village board Tuesday to consider setting aside some space in the new village hall for youth activities.
Commission members said they would be willing to discuss their concerns further with village staff as the planning process for the new village hall moves ahead.
A village hall and a two-story parking garage are planned for the northwest corner of Emerson Street and Busse Avenue, where the Mount Prospect Senior Center is now. The new village hall is expected ...
