ABIX via COMTEX) -- Australian medical equipment and apparatus company, Optiscan Imaging has entered into a strategic agreement with Asahi Optical. The latter firm, which is based in Japan, is a large medical instruments company and is also involved in various optical products such as cameras and videos. The agreement between the two firms, which is initially worth $A20 million, will see them collaborate on the development of various flexible endoscope products.
