LOS ANGELES -- Singer-songwriter-guitarist-producer Nelly Furtado will greet the new year with her first headlining tour of major North American venues, which she's dubbed the 2000 Burn In The Spotlight Tour. DreamWorks Records labelmate and fellow genre-bender Citizen Cope will join her on select dates.
Furtado's widely acclaimed debut album, Whoa, Nelly!, has been certified double platinum in the U.S., based largely on radio and video success for the songs "I'm Like A Bird" (Top 10 on Billboard's Hot 100) and "Turn Off The Light" (Top 5).
