To the Editor:
On Sept. 5, the Elbridge Town Board was approached and asked to move forward - after 14 years - to create a position of recreation coordinator for ALL of our town recreation programs.
Unification of all recreation programs under one director was our goal. This position was not only intended to benefit our youth but all town residents, including seniors.
We also were concerned about the $27,000 grant that was received to renovate the Jordan-Elbridge Community Center, which is a focal point for all senior citizen activities in our area.
