Anglers who frequent the St. Lawrence River, Lake Ontario tributaries and New York City ponds are among those who would be impacted by new fishing regulations proposed by the state Department of Environmental Conservation.
One hundred and forty-one recommended regulatory changes have been posted on the computer Web site of the DEC's Division of Fish, Wildlife & Marine Resources, www.dec.state.ny.us/website/dfwmr.
Interested anglers can e-mail their comments to that electronic address through Feb. 15. Written observations also will be accepted at DEC regional offices.
