Thanks to a provision in the NCAA rules, the University of Wisconsin football team is scheduled to play 12 regular-season games this fall instead of the usual 11.
Now comes word the Badgers may play a 13th game this season, which would be held at Camp Randall Stadium and give the school an unprecedented eight home dates.
UW athletic director Pat Richter acknowledged Wednesday that more than one party has asked if the Badgers would be interested in playing host an early-season benefit game similar to the Eddie Robinson Classic held here last Aug.25 when UW defeated Virginia 26-17.
