The best thing about snow tubing, says Kristan Brinley, 37, of Syracuse, is that there's no work involved.
"It's just pure fun," says the mother of two. "There's a ride up and a ride down, and it's almost as much fun getting pulled up as it is riding down."
Unlike old-fashioned sledding, there's no trudging up the hill after the ride, dragging sleds and kids. A motorized tow does the grunt work.
