BIDS FOR REPUBLICAN NATIONAL CONVENTION
NEW YORK, March 23 /PRNewswire/ -- On behalf of Mayor David N. Dinkins and the City of New York, the New York Convention & Visitors Bureau, led by its president Marshall E. Murdaugh, is bidding for the 1992 Republican National Convention today (Friday, March 23) at about 4 p.m. in Washington's Capital Hilton Hotel, before the RNC's Site Selection Committee.
Other cities making a bid are Atlanta, Cleveland, Houston, Kansas City, Miami and St. Petersburg. Two of the cities bidding for the RNC are also vying for the 1992 Democratic National Convention: New York ...
