Article: Routing the Straps. (Letters to the Editors).

The article on the Smart Tabs in the June 2001 issue ("Tab, Please") was interesting, and I'd like to install a set on my 1997 Maxum 1900 SR (the same model as in your test). But one thing concerns me. It appears from the photo on page 42 that the tabs will be in the path of the transom tie-down straps. I do not want to run into that problem. During your installation, did you install the transom straps? If so, did the tabs interfere, and how did you solve this problem?
