EXHAUSTION HOSPITALIZES YVES SAINT LAURENT
PARIS -- Yves Saint Laurent has been hospitalized because he is suffering from what appears to be nervous exhaustion.
His doctor, Michael Prendeville, of the American Hospital in Neuilly, said Monday that the results of a medical examination of the designer are "entirely satisfactory," but he has recommended a period of complete rest for the 53-year old Saint Laurent for the next few weeks.
There were no signs of any infection, Prendeville said.
