Face it, most dogs have your average human beat when it comes to comforting sick people.
They can calm the soul with a look. They can bring a smile to an animal-lover's face with a simple nudge. And they never, ever say the wrong thing to a patient.
All this is why Edward Hospital's new animal-assisted therapy program, which debuts today, intends to give man's best friend a chance at doing what he does best: make people feel better.
