In the shuffling of assistant coaches that will be prompted by the hiring of Jeff Tedford as California's head coach, two thoughts can be eliminated: any current UO assistants following Tedford to Cal, and Chris Petersen replacing Tedford as Oregon's offensive coordinator.
Tedford said Friday before Oregon's practice that while he's not ready to announce any of his assistants at Cal, `I have a pretty good idea of who they're going to be,' and none would be his current co-workers at Oregon.
On the matter of replacing Tedford, UO coach Mike Bellotti said `I'm not going to rush this thing,' and predicted it ...
