Which part of Eugene most needs rapid transit first? The bustling Coburg Road from downtown Eugene to Costco? Or the burgeoning residential area west of Highway 99 near Barger Drive?
That's what the Eugene City Council will decide during the next two months as it continues to help fashion the future Eugene-Springfield Bus Rapid Transit system.
"Either route will work as a good demonstration," Eugene senior planner Kurt Yeiter said. "The question is, which one should come first?"
