FISHER BILL TO KEEP CRIMINALS OUT OF
WASTE INDUSTRY APPROVED BY COMMITTEE
HARRISBURG, Pa., March 27 /PRNewswire/ -- The Senate Environmental Resources and Energy Committee has approved Sen. Mike Fisher's (R-Allegheny) legislation aimed at keeping organized crime out of Pennsylvania's billion-dollar waste industry.
The committee also approved a number of changes to Senate Bill 1437, which Fisher said "fine-tunes the proposal to address concerns that were raised at a February public hearing on the bill."
