Marooned upriver
I am mystified. Why, in this age of trying to do as much as we can to keep people safe, do we allow such dangerous conditions to exist on the McKenzie Highway? I have had two very close calls on the highway recently. In both cases, there were a lot of common safety measures that hadn't been put in place at those sites to protect the innocent driver. Do we have to have a tragedy before someone wakes up from passivity?
