DETROIT -- Greektown Casino has pumped $411.2 million into the economies and governments of Detroit and the State of Michigan, a review of the casino's economic impact shows.
"Greektown Casino's economic impact on the City of Detroit and the State of Michigan has been significant and positive," said casino Chief Operating Officer Sal Semola. "We are proud that Greektown Casino has emerged as a major employer, taxpayer and entertainment destination that is attracting more than 12,000 people a day to Michigan's most important city."
