PASADENA - If Los Angeles is to become a professional football town again, officials at Pasadena's Rose Bowl want to be seriously considered to play host.
The City Council, in a joint meeting Monday with the Rose Bowl Operating Co.'s board of directors, unanimously approved the RBOC's three-year business plan, which authorizes stadium officials to court an NFL team.
Councilman Paul Little said the city has to explore ways to keep the Rose Bowl - Pasadena's most famous landmark - viable financially.
