The opportunity to speak up about the status of Wisconsin's deer herd is coming to a community near you.
The Assembly Natural Resources Committee's sub-committee on Deer and Deer Management is holding public hearings across the state on the status of the deer herd and deer management.
The sub-committee, chaired by Rep. Scott Gunderson, R-Town of Norway, was started following the 2001 gun deer hunting season.
