SPOKANE, Wash. -- WestCoast Hospitality Corporation today reported fourth quarter and year-end 2001 earnings for WestCoast and Red Lion Hotels and Inns. For the year ended December 31, 2001, pro forma earnings per share reflecting the impact of the Red Lion Hotels and Inns acquisition as if it took place on January 1, 2001 was $0.69, compared to $0.45 in 2000. For the same period, pro forma total revenue increased 61.9%, from $126 million in 2000 to $204 million in 2001. During 2001, pro forma EBITDA (Earnings Before Interest, Taxes, Depreciation and Amortization) increased 14.5%, from $34.0 million in 2000 to $38.9 million in 2001.
