BEI ELECTRONICS IN NEGOTIATIONS TO PURCHASE SYSTRON DONNER
SAN FRANCISCO, March 28 /PRNewswire/ -- BEI Electronics Inc. (NASDAQ/NMS: BEII) today announced that it is participating in negotiations which could lead to the purchase of Systron Donner, an aerospace subsystems and components company headquartered in Concord, Calif., by a new corporation formed by BEI.
Systron Donner is currently part of the British company, THORN EMI. In the year ended March 31, 1989, the company reported sales in excess of $90 million, according to Peter Paraskos, president of Systron Donner, who -- together with other senior managers -- will participate in the acquisition. ...
