MIAMI _ Stephen Guida and his wife, Maryann, recently bought season tickets to the Baltimore Orioles' spring training games so they can give their 3-month-old son, Ryne, his first taste of major-league baseball.
But Guida now fears that if the Marlins leave South Florida, spring training will be the only baseball Ryne _ named after former Cubs second baseman Ryne Sandberg _ can savor.
On his lunch hour Friday, the Fort Lauderdale podiatrist and dozens of other fans watched Orioles pitchers and catchers work out at Fort Lauderdale Stadium.
