SAN ANTONIO -- Undefeated Kermit Cintron knocked out popular, hometown favorite Omar Davila in the second round to capture the vacant World Boxing Council (WBC) Youth world welterweight title on "ShoBox: The New Generation" today on SHOWTIME. In the co-feature from Sunset Station, World Boxing Organization (WBO) Intercontinental/North American Boxing Organization (NABO) 122-pound champion and WBO No. 2 contender Joan Guzman won a unanimous 10-round decision over Armando Guerrero. Frank Warren's Sports Network Europe promoted the fight card.
