BG&E REVISES RESTART SCHEDULE FOR CALVERT CLIFFS
BALTIMORE, March 30 /PRNewswire/ -- Baltimore Gas & Electric (NYSE: BGE) announced today a revised restart schedule for its Calvert Cliffs Nuclear Power Plant.
Company officials said that heat-up of Unit One should begin this weekend, and that the company believes it will receive concurrence from the Nuclear Regulatory Commission (NRC) to support bringing Unit One on line during the first half of April. Assuming a restart, BG&E then will shut down Unit One sometime in the second half of April for approximately 10 weeks to conduct mandatory surveillance testing.
