Oil Ministers Inaugurate Iraq's Oil Export Pipeline
MANAMA - Iraqi oil minister Isaam Abdul Raheem Al-Chalabi and his Saudi counterpart Hisham Nazer Tuesday inaugurated Iraq's 1.65 million barrel per day oil export pipeline through Saudi Arabia.
"This accomplishment is significant not only for the history of Iraqi oil industry but also for the path of Saudi-Iraqi relations," Nazer said at the ceremony at the newly constructed Red Sea terminal of Muajjiz.
The IPSA-2 pipeline is the latest in a series of export products that will raise Iraq's total crude oil export capacity to around 5 million b/ d by mid-1990. Iraq began building the Trans-Saudi ...
