SYDNEY, Feb 18 Asia Pulse - Medical imaging company Optiscan Imaging Ltd (ASX:OIL) has received the first payment of $US3.3 million ($A6.4 million) of a joint venture with Pentax in Japan.

Optiscan announced earlier this month that it had entered into a collaborative joint venture with Pentax worth $US10 million ($A19.4 million).
