CHICAGO -- Heartland Partners, L.P. , through wholly owned subsidiary CMC Heartland Partners III, today announced that the next phase of its Kinzie Station development, including nearly 1,700 residential units, 85,000 square feet of retail space and 400 units of commercial parking, has received approval from the Chicago Plan Commission. The Plan Commission's recommendation for approval, issued Thursday, February 14, 2002, now goes to the City Council's zoning committee, which will make its recommendation to the full City Council.
