ALLAN LEWIS, the former coach and director of rugby at Newport, yesterday joined Bridgend as world rugby's coaching merry-go-round went into overdrive.
Lewis took charge at Bridgend on a caretaker basis until the end of the season at the same time as Cardiff coach Rudy Joubert was asked to attend his interview for the vacant South Africa post next Wednesday.
