The title of this ambitious book suggests to me that readers will be provided with a critical analysis of the most recent developments of Australian literary criticism. Such a book would be a welcome contribution to current debates on the position of Australian literary criticism in the context of world literary criticism heritage. I was a little disappointed because the book is in fact an anthology of selected documents of Australian literary criticism, many of which are incomplete or ...
