For the second year straight year, Northern Kentucky will play host to a major Northern Ireland political figure during the week leading up to St. Patrick's Day.
Gerry Adams, president of the Sinn Fein, Ireland's oldest political party, will visit Covington and Newport on March 11.
Last year, the Sinn Fein's second-in-command, Martin McGuinness, visited the area during a speaking tour of the United States and Canada.
Adams, 53, has been involved in the Northern Ireland political scene since the 1960s.
