Saturn Division, armed with fresh products, will try to reinvent itself this year as youthful and stylish with new advertising.

After all, it hasn't been ``a different kind of car company,'' its longtime slogan, for some time.

``We'll focus more on cars than the company,'' said Jeff Goodby about his advertising agency's new account. ``One of the mistakes of the '90s is they continued to focus on the company long after it made sense to do so. Part of the reason, no doubt, is they didn't have new cars to focus on.''

Saturn, on Jan. 31, chose Goodby, Silverstein & Partners in San Francisco to take over its creative work from Publicis & Hal Riney ...
