Cooperstown is home to a famous hall of fame, and Cleveland has one, too, but only Syracuse can claim The Wall of Flame.
That's the name of the display that runs from the floor to ceiling and from the front to the back of The Hot Shoppe in Armory Square. It's hard to miss, with its glowing flame-red neon sign and its display of 1,000 kinds of hot sauce.
If you can't find a hot sauce you like here, you might need to invent your own. The hot sauces come from all over, from Cajun country and the American Southwest, from Mexico, the Caribbean, Asia and Africa.
