FORT WORTH, Texas -- RadioShack Corporation today announced fourth quarter adjusted net income of $126 million or $0.67 per share for the quarter ended December 31, 2001, compared to reported net income of $146 million or $0.74 per share for the quarter ended December 31, 2000. For the three months ended December 31, 2001, reported net income was $35.2 million or $0.18 per share.
Total sales in fourth quarter 2001 were $1.52 billion, compared to total sales of $1.58 billion the previous year, a decline of 4%. Comparable store sales for the fourth quarter 2001 were down 2%.
