Dance, headbands and bonsai trees.
They all made an appearance Sunday at the eclectic Asian Celebration, which concluded Sunday at the Lane County Fairgrounds. The two-day event, sponsored by the Eugene-Springfield Asian Council, is in its 17th year.
This year's celebration was the first, however, for Luh Andarawati, who performed a classical Indonesian court dance.
Like all children in Bali, Indonesia, Andarawati learned to dance at an early age. "It's part of the culture," she said.
